Paramount Championship is an interclass competition to test the students in a great magnitude of disciplines ranging from academic events to stage performances in order to provide a platform for all Sri KDU Secondary School students to showcase their creativity and talents. In addition, this is also one signiture annual school event that helps promote class unity while allowing the building of positive rapport among the students, and between the students and their homeroom teachers. 1. The Paramount Championship Grand Finals will be held on the 29 June for Category A and 30 June for Category B for the year 2011.

Event 8 - Band
This year's band prelims will be held on the 11th of March, on a Friday, after school for both Category A and B. It will be held in the hall. Only 10 bands from each category may proceed to the next round which will be held on the 1st of April and the 29th of April.This year we will be having two quarter finals whereby the marks from both rounds will be tallied and accumulated whereby the top 5 with the highest marks will go through to the grand finals. As for song choices:-
Prelims - You will play for 2 mins, a song from before the 90's
Q-final-1- You will play the whole song, any song from any era BUT it must be a slow number.
Q-final-2- You will play the whole song, any song from any era BUT it must be a fast number.
